By accessing or using Synappse's products and services — including LiveLingual and synappse.me — you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using our services, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

2. Use of services

You agree not to:

• Use the services for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system or data
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity of the services
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the services
• Use automated tools to scrape or extract data without permission

3. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@synappse.me of any unauthorized access.

4. Payment and subscriptions

Paid services are billed in advance on a recurring basis. Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice. Payments are processed by Stripe. See our Refund Policy for cancellation and refund terms.

5. Intellectual property

Synappse and its licensors own all rights, title, and interest in the services, including all intellectual property rights. You retain ownership of content you create using our services.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

The services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Synappse shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the services at any time for violation of these terms. You may cancel your account at any time by contacting us at hello@synappse.me.

9. Changes to terms

We may modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on our website. Continued use of the services after changes constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
